Vladimír Háva was an architect who mainly worked in the Jihlava and České Budějovice regions. Born in Telč in 1927, he received his first education in civil engineering at the State Technical School of Construction (Státní průmyslová škola stavební) in České Budějovice. He then went on to study architecture at Brno Technical University, where he graduated in 1950.
Vladimír Háva's early activities were connected with the state design organisation Stavoprojekt Jihlava, established in 1949 as a branch of Stavoprojekt Brno. During that period, the architect developed the design of the Horácký Ice Arena (1955–1956) in Jihlava, which became his most important project ever.
From 1965, he worked as head of the Business Project company (Obchodní projekt) in České Budějovice. When the same company was established in Jihlava in 1974, he took over the management of the team of designers, architects, and specialists. The main output of his teams included department stores, shopping centres, and shops in the South Bohemian Region (Milevsko, Kremže, Kostelní Vydří) and in Vysočina (Věcov). He also designed several hotels, such as the Rekrea Hotel (now Kotyza) in Humpolec and the U Koníčka Hotel in Dačice.
He was active primarily in architecture until 1987, when he retired. During that time, he also worked briefly as a teacher at the Secondary School of Construction (Střední škola stavební) in Jihlava.
